headquarters, are the British & International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA) and the Greenkeepers Training Committee (GTC). These organisations work harmoniously with Aldwark Manor, creating a family of people who have a vested interest in making all aspects of the Hotel, Golf & Country Club a sucess.
BIGGA is responsible for developing and educating it's ever-growing greenkeeper membership, for improving standards within the industry. It is one of the most important 'behind the scenes' organisations of the golfing world and is supported by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club.
Similarly, GTC works to achieve better maintained and managed golf courses.
